Join the First #zooGood Twitter Chat: Best Practices in Online Fundraising, Featuring John Haydon

For anyone who wants to make a difference in the world, effective online fundraising is a useful skill to hone.

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our inaugural #zooGood Twitter chat tonight at 9 pm – 9:30 pm EST. John Haydon (shown above) — who runs Inbound Zombie, a social media strategy firm — will be joining us to lead a conversation on best practices in online fundraising. John helps nonprofits increase awareness using social media, pumping up engagement, and increasing online donations. Tonight, he will be online to talk with you, covering topics such as how to drive interest without annoying your followers. @Mightycause will ask him three questions, one at 9:00, one at 9:10, and one at 9:20 — and you can ask him questions, too!

So, how do you get in on the action?

  • Follow @Mightycause and search for the hashtag #zooGood (you can use either search.twitter.com or a service like TweetChat).
  • Log onto Twitter at 9 pm EST.
  • Interact! Ask questions. Make comments. Engage with the experts.

If you can’t make the chat tonight, don’t worry: Today’s chat is the first in a series of #zooGood chats, part of our ‘zooGooder program in partnership with Zoetica. Experts will be joining @Mightycause every Tuesday to share their insight and to interact with you.

See you tonight!
