Online giving gets more social, more powerful — more pretty, too

There’s something different about us today.

No, it’s not a haircut (though thanks for asking). Not new clothes. No new office space (that’s later).

We’ve got a brand, spankin’ new homepage and new story pages on Mightycause.com. The new version includes a host of great new features that make Mightycause.com an even more fun and satisfying place for you to give money.

We always want to keep improving the site for our users, so we headed back to the labs and returned with an upgrade that’s still the same trustworthy Mightycause.com we’ve come to know and love—just, well, better. Here’s how. Mightycause.com is now:

more fun.

New social features will make it easy for your donors to get the most out of their donation. In one easy glance, see how many donors an organization has engaged, and how many fans the fundraiser has attracted. Browse through comments on the fundraiser’s page and donors can leave few notes themselves. Then go to the bottom of the new page, and check out other related causes that might interest you.

more impactful.

Individuals and organizations can now create live matching grants for any nonprofit, project, or particular fundraiser—and the process is built so simply that it only takes seconds.  Our improved search function will also allow supporters to browse the Mightycause catalog and find the organizations that align with their passions.

more intimate.

Organizations and fundraisers can express to their supporters exactly what they want with the new story pages and fundraiser pages that will create an engaging environment for your fans. Allow your donors to interact with your company by leaving comments. Whether it’s cheering you on or asking a question, all the comments are there in one place. Mightycause also provides easy sharing tools to let fans, friends, and nonprofit professionals to tell their Twitter, Facebook, and email networks about causes in just a click.
