Never Fear, 'zooGooders Are Here

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no — it’s the ‘zooGooders!

The Mightycause Team, with help from Zoetica, spent the last few weeks crawling the social good space to assemble a group of leading social good voices online. Today, we are happy to announce the ‘zooGooder Council, a powerful group of social innovators that will test the DonateAnywhere widget, share best practices, and lead open Twitter chats.

As with anyone using the DonateAnywhere widget, DonateAnywhere will allow these experts to complete the whole fundraising experience, from start to finish, on their own website or blog. ‘ZooGooders will be participating in a fundraising challenge with each other, competing for the esteemed title of Mightycause ‘zooGooder Overall Champion of the Year. It will be fun to see what the ‘ZooGooders come up with.

For you — whether you’re a nonprofit executive or individual interested in changing the world — this will be a privileged opportunity to see top online nonprofits, fundraisers, and philanthropists at work. How can you benefit benefit from the ‘zooGooder mood?

  1. Follow @Mightycause and watch the hashtag #zooGood on Twitter. @Mightycause will be sharing learnings from the event, and #zooGood will be the tag for all program-related discussion. See what ‘zooGooders are talking about and feel free to ask a question yourself!
  2. Join the ‘zooGooder Twitter chat, Tuesdays, 9 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. EST. Follow the hashtag #zooGood to keep up with the discussion. Leading experts will take turns moderating the chat each week.
  3. Check out the ‘zooGooders on Twitter. We’ve made a handy ‘zooGooder Twitter list for your convenience.
  4. Watch the Mightycause Impact blog and “like” Mightycause Giving on Facebook. We’ll be keeping you abreast on best practices, telling stories, and a play-by-play of the ‘zooGooder fundraising challenges.
