1 + 1 = 3?
That’s the logic behind Give to the Max Day 2010, a 24-hour event for Minnesota nonprofits that, like loaves and fishes, multiplies every dollar donation through matching grants and special prizes.
And it’s on right now.
So far, more than 26,700 donors have given more than $5 million nearly in just 16 hours.
Incredibly, the best is still yet to come:
- • Every hour, a randomly drawn donor will be drawn to have an extra $1000 given to his or her donation.
The following prize grants will be awarded to those bring the most donors in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota areas.
- • 1st place: $20,000
- • 2nd place: $10,000
- • 3rd place: $5,000
- • 4th place: $2,500
- • 10th place: Land O’ Lakes 10 thousdand lakes prize $1,000
- • 32nd place: Gopher State Prize: $1,000
