For the holidays, Mightycause staff are volunteering at Food & Friends. This organization was started by one woman who provided lunch to a friend who was sick at home with AIDS. Now, they staff professional chefs and dietitians, and are the only nonprofit in the DC area providing meals, groceries and nutrition counseling to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.
